- Personalisation and Choice
Many of our pupils are currently making choices about the courses they want to study next year. Please contact us at the school if we can help in any way as these important choices are being made.
- S1 - Mrs Di Mambro
- S3/4 - Miss Lennon
- S5/6 - Mr Fleming
Can I take this opportunity to thank Mrs Ruby Davidson, DHT, for outstanding service to our school. She retires at Easter after 28 years at Dalziel and will be greatly missed by all pupils and staff. For a number of years she has been DHT for Support for Learning and has ensured that the young people in her care have had the best support possible. She has made a real difference to the lives and futures of so many young people and we wish her a very happy retirement.
- Supported Study
As we approach the SQA examinations, many teachers are offering supported study sessions after school and at lunchtimes. I would ask parents to encourage their son/daughter to attend these sessions as they could prove to be of great benefit to their exam performance.
- Dress Code
While there was some relaxation of the dress code during the severe weather, we now feel the need to remind pupils of our uniform policy.
The uniform consists of:
- Dalziel blazer and tie
- White shirt/blouse
- Grey/black skirt/tartan skirt
- Grey/black trousers
- Grey/black cardigan/pullover
- Dress shoes
