Touching the Moon

Rare samples of moon rock and lunar dust landed at Dalziel High School, Motherwell on Monday for a week's visit. Meteorites of different kinds have also formed part of a display and students have been able to handle and study them, seeing the obvious differences in materials they were made from.

Choral Shield 2010

Class of '60 Reunion

Given favourable response, a 50th Anniversary Reunion will take place on 19th June 2010 of those sixth year students who left the school in June 1960. A welcome is extended to those who left ion 1959 at the end of their fifth year as well as to those in their seventh year in 1960.

Christmas Parcels Delivery

The annual collection of goods for Christmas Hampers was completed last week. These goods were parceled up and were distributed to the Elderly in our area yesterday. This was a fantastic initiative and allowed our pupils to participate in the true meaning of Christmas.

Hockey Coaches

Elliot Baker S5 and Stuart MacDonald S6 have been awarded the Federation of International Hockey Youth Award for their contribution to coaching Junior Hockey at Dalziel High School.
