Engineering in Education Scheme

Last year the school entered a team into the Engineering in Education Scheme. It involves working alongside an engineering company to develop an area of their business and provides pupils with a flavour of how real life projects work.
This year Honeywell have been approached to work with Dalziel. Honeywell are based in Chapelhall/Airdrie but are part of a huge worldwide operation. A team of 4 - 6 pupils who are looking seriously at careers in engineering, project management or something similar is required. You will be involved in doing a project during this school year, over and above your normal studies, and will be required to attend workshops at the University of Strathclyde - approximately 4 days out of school.
The launch date for the programme is next Wednesday, 10th October If you are interested in being part of this team please attend a short meeting with Mr Bell in M5 on Monday at morning break.
