- Parent Council / PTA
We are fortunate to have a very active Parent Council and Parent Teacher Association. The PTA is hoping to recruit new members so please come along and find out more about our school and how you can help provide the best opportunities for our pupils. Details of all meetings dates and times are on the Community Section of our website: www.dalzielhigh.org.uk.
- PTA Meeting
At the next PTA meeting on Monday 24th October we will have a presentation on the new web service operated by Skills Development Scotland.
It is called myworldatwork. This service provides excellent help with career choice and should be of interest to parents. We are fortunate that one of our own parents June Weir is an expert in this and has offered to demonstrate.
For further Parents’ Association information and meeting dates, refer to the Parents' Association section under Community on this website.
A number of our senior pupils recently ‘twinned’ with pupils from the Italian town of Pescia in Tuscany. All of those involved in hosting our Italian visitors had a wonderful time and the Italians have gone home having made many new friends. Many thanks to the pupils involved, and their families, for being such generous hosts.
